'The Decades of Music'
Socio Muso wrote a show for the students of Saigon Star International School. The show, involving the entire school, was designed so that each Year Group had their own mini-performance, linked by narration from the older students. The theme was music from the last 60 years, and students sang and danced their way through the 1 hour performance for an audience of family & friends.
January - May 2016
Socio Muso adapted the story of 'Matilda' for the 25 performers of SYMT. 'Matilda' has been running in London's West End for 6 years as a Musical, so the Director of SYMT reduced the 2 hour show into a 1 hour performance. SYMT rehearsed the show over 5 months, from January to May 2016, culminating in 2 performances at Dancenter in Thao Dien, District 2. The show raised over 6 million VND for Helping Orphans Worldwide.
Socio Muso adapted the story of The Grinch for Saigon Star International School and their Christmas show. Socio Muso composed original songs and used existing songs from other musicals to link the story together. The show involved the entire school with over 100 students, from ages 3 - 11.
