This February half-term we are delivering our first 'School's Out!' program of 2024 for young people interested in singing, acting & dance.
No previous experience necessary!
Our aim is to help students build & develop FOUR key transferable skills
Students will learn songs & scenes from some of the best loved musicals.
A typical morning might look like this:
Game Time
Physical warm-up
Vocal warm-up
Learn / Practice a musical theatre song
Learn / Practice an acting scene
BREAK TIME
Learn a piece of choreography
Block the acting scene
Game Time
HOME
Alongside the FOUR key transferrable skills, students will get a real insight into the workings of how professional actors work together as a theatre company to put a piece of theatre on to the stage.
The program will be run by Matthew Gardener, who has twenty years experience as an educator & industry professional.
